Ford to debut new Zetec S at motor show

Ford will complete its latest Fiesta range with the new Zetec S, which can reach 62 mph in less than ten seconds.

The new model, which gives 47.9 mpg and 139 g/km carbon emissions, will use less fuel than its predecessor and include features that may appeal to environmentally-aware drivers who are looking to pay less for car insurance.

Some companies now offer a range of car insurance policies aimed at drivers of cars that produce less carbon emissions.

The Zetec S will be launched at the British International Motor Show, set to take place at the Excel centre in London from July 23rd until August 3rd.

Ford of Britain's marketing director, Mark Ovenden, said: "Fiesta has always stood for fun and Zetec S delivers this with a capital F. Lively performance and sporty styling mean it looks great and goes as well as it looks."

The carmaker has also announced the New Transit Connect SportVan is to be priced at Ł15,325 and a limited edition will be available in September.
