Life insurance available in minutes, claim Aviva

People looking for life insurance can get an online decision in minutes, according to Aviva.

Figures from the company revealed that 80 per cent of customers who purchase a policy through its Simplified Life product have benefited from getting a quote quickly.

Furthermore, the firm claims that people can get up to £500,000 worth of cover within minutes using its quote and apply tool.

Richard Verdin, director of protection marketing at Aviva, said: "We also know from our research that 61 per cent of families have no form of financial protection, so this is a fantastic way for people to put that all-important cover in place."

He added that the product has been developed to provide a quick route to getting cover, with four out of five consumers getting a quote without the need of extra medical checks or reports.

Recently, Arc Property Solicitors launched a life insurance policy that is available to dwelling owners that have bought a home worth £200,000 or more.
