Pensions landscape has improved in the UK

Brits have been told the pensions landscape is now much better across the country than it was a few years ago.
This is according to investment providers Hargreaves Lansdown, which noted that many people could be facing the poverty line if they do not save up for their retirement.
The firm added that if Brits are reluctant to try and build up a nest egg for their twilight years then it could lead to problems in the future.
Laith Khalaf, pensions analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown, said: "The landscape is much better now than it has been for a number of years, and it actually continues to improve. I would encourage people to look at pensions again."
Recently, Scottish Widows revealed that 49 per cent of Brits who could be saving for their retirement are failing to do so.
The bank added that the levels of investment in the UK have remained pretty consistent both pre and post credit crunch.
