'Too many Brits' travelling with out cover

Some 27 per cent of Brits have admitted they will not be taking out travel insurance for their summer holiday this year, Sainsbury's has revealed.
Research by the group found 55 to 64-year-olds were most likely to take a break without purchasing travel insurance.
Of those holidaymakers questioned, 31 per cent said they did not need travel cover and 18 per cent said they could not afford it.
Steve Johnson, head of insurance at Sainsbury's Finance, said he was concerned by the number of people who were going away without travel insurance.
He stated: "It's a false economy to do without it and should be regarded as a holiday essential, just as important as packing your passport."
Mr Johnson added, although people are trying to cut costs as a result of the current economic downturn, travel insurance is a necessity not a luxury.
Elsewhere, private bank Cater Allen has said holidaymakers can keep costs down by making sure they avoid unnecessary charges for using their debit and credit cards abroad.
